Odoo & integrations
A website, incoming requests and business workflows in one application system. Consider native Odoo capabilities before adding custom code.
When it helps
- Website enquiries must be copied manually into the working system.
- Data is duplicated across spreadsheets and applications without a clear source of truth.
- Configuration and custom development are hard to distinguish from standard features.
Scope of work
- Map the process, data objects, roles and access boundaries.
- Configure standard pages, forms and application modules.
- Add focused integrations with explicit exchange and error contracts.
Boundaries and conditions
The Odoo version, installed applications and specific website determine available capabilities. Changes to schemas, data and a running environment require a separately agreed stage.
A clear solution and a practical next step
The agreed deliverable covers more than configuration or code: it includes dependencies, a change procedure and checks of the relevant workflows. Documentation and ongoing support are scoped to the task.
01
Understand the context
What is getting in the way, who uses the system and which outcome would improve the situation.
02
Define the boundaries
Data, access, dependencies, allowed effects and conditions for returning to a known state.
03
Build a working step
The smallest connected part of a process that can be tested in the assigned environment.
04
Verify and hand over
Real scenarios, limitations, documentation and responsibility for the next step.
Questions before starting
When is configuration enough, and when is a custom module justified?
First test the installed version and theme against a concrete workflow. Custom work addresses a demonstrated functional or editorial gap rather than recreating an available feature.
Will I be able to edit text and images myself?
Editability is part of implementation acceptance: changing, saving, reopening, duplicating and translating are checked on the target website. A mockup alone does not prove that the editor works.

Let’s start with your context
Describe what should work better, how it works today and the constraints you already know. A detailed technical specification is not needed for the first conversation.
