Start with the visitor’s task
Consider a service page. Its visitor needs to understand the problem, scope, limits and next step. A clear heading, useful explanation, relevant illustration and action can provide that. Wanting something different is not, by itself, a reason to rewrite the page structure. Define the purpose before choosing the construction method.
Try the native foundation
Odoo Website provides blocks that can be added, edited, moved and duplicated. Its documentation describes columns, grids and backgrounds. These are starting points for a composition test, not proof that every option is available in the installed theme. Build a representative section on a test page and check its mobile arrangement.

Brand character is more than a new widget
A logo, type hierarchy, proportions, section rhythm and original imagery can create character without new business logic. Keep text as text and illustrations as separate files. Editing a paragraph and replacing an image then remain independent operations. With three languages, a German caption need not occupy the same space as an English one.
Give custom work a specific reason
Custom work is justified by a real constraint. For example, a standard layout may fail to preserve the relationship between a system illustration and its explanatory layers on a narrow screen. Specify the missing element, its editable fields, states, mobile order and style boundaries. Do not turn the whole page into one opaque embedded fragment.
Accept editability, not just appearance
A good screenshot does not establish that a block is ready. Add it, change text and image, save, reopen, duplicate and translate it. Odoo separates translating text from structural editing in the default language. Finally check another page and another website in the shared database: one distinctive section should not cause unrelated changes elsewhere.
